I am interested in how the human brain represents memories of everyday experiences. More specifically, I am fascinated by three questions: (a) how do the shared features of experiences shape their initial representation in memory?; (b) how are these memories impacted by online (during an episode of experience) and offline (in between episodes of experiences) processing?; and (c) how does maturation across the lifespan influence these memory processes? I hope to adopt different empirical approaches to assessing the formation and transformation of memory representations throughout the brain, in both adults and children.
